Pogge shines. Pielmeier struggles.

Pielmeier left. Pogge right.

(Well, as I don't get any type of game from the Condors whatsoever I can't exactly put on the defense in front of either goalie)

Justin Pogge started in the season opener for the Bakersfield Condors vs. the Kings ECHL team the Ontario Reign. When the game ended, he was 15 for 15 for shots give or take if those were shot on goal (SOG) The Condors won the game 0-5. On Saturday, Timo Pielmeier had the nod to start the game for the second game against the Reign in the two-game series the Condors surrendered an 8-2 loss. The defense also seemed to not pull as good as game as wanted. The Reign chased out Pielmeier and Pogge replaced him. Pielmeier had a hat trick scored against him Ontario's Peter Hogeboom. Pogge allowed one goal on the power play to defenseman Mike Egener.

There's always times wishing that could get the minor league hockey. According the Condors website that their radio is on one of ESPN's channels.

Raise your glass to Pielmeier to have a better game in the next one he starts and to Pogge to continue his good play. Also to our two other goalies, who were invited to camp: Cousineau and Levasseur.

The Condors seem to have the same problem as the Ducks, where there's two very good goalies and they have to give each playing time to figure out who should get the starting role. As probably minor league teams do this anyways, giving both goaltenders a fair amount of playing time. This gives a better chance for the team to look at him at an NHL skilled standpoint.
