Pogge Wins. Olympics high on list for Pielmeier

Justin Pogge allowed 3 goals on 36 shots in the win over the Victoria Salmon Kings.

The Condors went to take the series over the Salmon Kings winning 2 of 3 games. Each goaltender Pielmeier and Pogge have wins to their names. The Ducks' Dan Sexton scored and he is currently tied in first with 3 goals. McGregor Sharp scored 2 goals and Ducks Stu Bickel and Logan McMillian also scored. MacMillian had the winning goal to boast the Condors into the has Bickel scored to tie up the game. Pogge had 33 saves and he is now 2-1-0 with Pielmeier being 1-1-0. Pogge played in the the 5-0 loss against the Salmon Kings and then had the nod for the final game against Victoria. The Salmon Kings are 1-5-0-0 with two points, while the Condors are 3-2-0-0 with six points.

Timo Pielmeier has the 2014 Olympics high on his list. Pielmeier would play for home country Germany if he is chosen to play. As of now, Timo's biggest dream is to make it to the NHL naming Carey Price of the Montreal Canadiens as one of his idols:

“I think I’ll have a big chance for 2014,” said Pielmeier, outside the dressing room at Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre.

National teams are important, added the Deggendorf native, but his biggest goal is to make it in club play in the greatest league in the world.

“I want to play in the NHL,” said Pielmeier.

“When I saw Carey Price play for Canada at the world juniors, I knew I had to come to North America to play major junior [Pielmeier did so in Quebec]. The aim now is to play well in the ECHL and get to the AHL and then the NHL.”

Timo Pielmeier is 1-1-0 with the Bakersfield Condors and had the win against the San Jose Sharks, the team who owned him and was seasoning him in with affiliate Worcestor Sharks. Timo was acquired in a trade which sent Ducks Kent Huskins and Travis Moen to San Jose.
